Tent-Makers of the Heart
We are tent-makers, dreamers, and lovers of nature and adventure. Having worked in the Glamping industry in the UK for over 15 years, and becoming one of the best nomadic tent Makers in Europe, we decided to set up a site of our own and Abruzzo, Italy called us into her heart and we fell in love with her. The region of Abruzzo has a need of regeneration, those abandoned rural mountain land, and villages, they all inspired the Heartland project. We are building this site as a model for sustainable tourism. It is a merger of slow natural stays with organic farming and culture, alongside bringing Glamping wholesale into Italy to help create a new tourism trend that can boost the economy and this region, the last kept gem of Italy.
Remove yourself from the lines of the world
FROM THE WORLD TO HEARTLAND
To travel from the real world, turn off the tarmac road from the village and pass the Gatehouse, which is the boundary between the worlds. Go around the valley and take the track down to Heartland. As you descend, feel the entry into another realm of being. You think you can’t exist without technology, internet and phones but, although there is access to technology here, you will find that you don’t really need it or miss it. Getting out of the world wide web we are woven in is an extremely freeing experience.
